Transfer Credit

From Arkansas State University at Newport
2006-2007 Catalog

TECH course numbers with a leading 0 (i.e. ENGL 0303, Foundational Composition) denote developmental or remedial courses.  Placement in these courses is in accordance with the state-mandated student assessment and placement standards.  Successful completions of these remedial courses require a grade of “C” or better.  These courses do not provide credit toward any degree.

In order to meet School of Business baccalaureate degree requirements, all transfer students must take in residence a minimum of fifty percent of the School of Business courses required for the degree. Please refer to the current catalog for more information.

* Nursing courses will be evaluated by the Admissions and Progression Committee for each student on an individual basis.

Courses may transfer to satisfy upper division classes at TECH, but will not satisfy requirement for upper division hours.

NA = Will not transfer for any credit
EC = Will transfer as elective credit
AC = Will transfer as activity credit
